Emmanuel Ugolee reigned supreme on TV many years ago, hosting Nigeria's first ever music video countdown before retiring from the limelight to do other things. I told y'all recently that he's battling chronic kidney disease (Read about that HERE). Well, there's great news now.

Yesterday Friday September 13th, he married his girlfriend Catherina Ajayi at the Ikoyi registry. His close friends, rapper Modenine, actress Chioma Chukwuka Akpotha, comedian Basketmouth and singers Sound Sultan and Djinee were at the wedding.

Oh and I heard Emmanuel's new bride has offered him her kidney if tests go well and she's found to be a match. His parents are too old to donate their kidneys and his only sibling who matches has donated hers. Now this wonderful girl who loves him very much has offered hers. Beautiful stuff.
